Collecting and analyzing internet data

In this informal workshop, a number of researchers from a variety of disciplines will present their experiences with using internet data for their research. The focus of the presentations is on 1) the research questions, 2) the online data collection (e.g., sampling, scraping, ethical issues), and 3) analysis tools. The workshop will end with a general discussion of relevant issues in the field, and potential future directions.
