Summer is calling!
As the sun finally returns to Lund, we’re wrapping up a spring full of science, collaboration, and a healthy dose of fun. As one of the three new university core facilities, we’ve spent the first half of 2025 diving headfirst into our mission: making experimental methods, tech, and knowledge accessible for interdisciplinary research across the university.
🎭 We kicked off with a workshop on methods developed in collaboration with Riksteatern Crea (from motion capture to real-time virtual reality
), featured in The Canterville Ghost. Thanks to the generous supprt from @AILund, we got to enjoy the performance together lots of other interested collegues!
🌍 We’ve hosted international research guests, run demos for researchers, academic leaders, industry, schools, and funders – and yes, we’ve had a blast doing it. Always the best discussions!
🎓 Our tutorials and courses have kept rolling, including the ever-popular commissioned course on practical eye tracking – fully booked for the 12th time!
🔬 We’ve hosted collaborated with national infrastructures, contributed to publications, supported method development, and two staff members were appointed qualified teaching practitioners (meriterade lärare). We are extremely proud over our excellent staff.
💌 To all our users – current and future (yes, that means you – drop us a line at info@humlab.lu.se and come play!) – we wish you a relaxing, sunny, and well-deserved summer.
☀️ See you in the fall – recharged and ready for more!
