Bio Pac System
Overview
The BioPac system at the Humanities Lab can be used to record and analyze heart rate, respiration, airflow and skin conductance. The signals can be recorded in isolation or in combination with each other.
Applications
The psychophysiological responses can be used for research in psychology, cognitive science, and behavioral studies, but also in linguistic or phonetic research. The results enable the analysis of emotional responses, stress, and physical engagement during tasks or interactions.
Technical Details
- BioPac MP150 system with multiple modules.
- Sensors for ECG, EDA, respiration, and more.
- Real-time data acquisition and synchronization with other modalities.
- Compatible with stimulus presentation software such as e-prime.
Access & Support
Training is required. The equipment can be booked for lab-based studies.
