MRI
Overview
While the Humanities Lab does not host its own MRI equipment, it collaborates closely with Lund University Bioimaging Center (LBIC), which provides access to advanced MRI scanners, including Sweden’s national 7T facility.
Applications
MRI, especially functional MRI (fMRI), is widely used in cognitive science, linguistics, psychology, and medical humanities to study brain anatomy and function, learning processes, and human behavior.
Technical Details
- Access to clinical MRI and 7T MRI scanners.
- High-resolution imaging for brain structure and activity.
- Integration with Humanities Lab projects possible.
Access & Support
Researchers can combine Humanities Lab work with imaging at LBIC. Training and support are available.
