The anechoic chamber at the Humanities Lab is a specialized room designed to eliminate sound reflections. It is equipped with sound-absorbing tiles on all surfaces and a mesh floor, creating an acoustically neutral environment ideal for high quality audio recordings.

Applications

This facility is used in research areas such as phonetics, acoustics, and musicology. It enables clean recordings for acoustic analysis, speech studies, and sound wave experiments.
