Overview

3D documentation at the Humanities Lab involves capturing and reconstructing physical objects or environments in digital 3D formats. It supports research in archaeology, cultural heritage, and spatial analysis.

Applications

Used to digitally preserve artifacts, model historical sites, and analyze spatial relationships. Enables immersive visualization and interaction with reconstructed environments.

Technical Details

- 3d-scanners (structured light and phase-shift)
- Photogrammetry equipment and software
- Differential GPS-system
- Software for 3D modeling and mesh editing.
- Output formats compatible with VR and AR platforms.

Access & Support

Training and technical expertise available. Equipment and software can be booked.
