Published 13 August 2015

Lab member Niclas Burenhult has been awarded a Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation (RJ) Jubilee Grant of 13.657.000 SEK for the project Language as key to perceptual diversity: an interdisciplinary approach to the senses. The project will explore human perception, a field in which recent research hints at considerable but still poorly understood variation across human languages and cultures. To this end, it will bring together a unique and highly qualified team representing Linguistics, Cognitive Psychology, Geoscience and History of Religions to investigate language of perception in three diverse Language Observatories.
