LU @ Humanities Lab
OPEN EVENT: Discover the Humanities Lab, a LU Core Facility!

DATE: February 26-27, 2026
LOCATION: LUX:C121 & Läsesalen
On February 26-27, 2026, we celebrate that Lund University Humanities Lab has been designated a Core facility among research infrastructures at LU. The Humanities Lab is open FOR FREE to everyone at LU! Come and learn first-hand what it offers and how it can support your projects from data collection to analysis.
Whether you are curious about eye-tracking, working with audiovisual materials, motion capture, handwriting recognition, 3D-documentation, EEG, statistics, or using LLMs, this event will show you what is possible.
There will be interactive demonstrations, talks by researchers who have used the lab’s resources, and information about how the lab can help in the research process.
Come and connect with experts, exchange ideas, and discover new ways to collaborate.
Thursday is dedicated to talks and demos (se programme below). You can also sign up on Thursday for a meeting with one of our experts on Friday (10-13)!
A more detailed programme can be found below. Sign up if you want tea/coffee during the day (scroll to the bottom of this page!). If you want to just pop by anytime during the day, you are of course welcome to do so!
