Research Engineer with a background in Computational linguistics. I have a PhD in applied language modelling from the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Worked as a postdoc at the Center for Applied Intelligent System Research (CAISR) at Halmstad University. Before doing my PhD I worked as a scientific programmer at the University of Tilburg and the Radboud university in Nijmegen.

Experience with NLP and language modelling, machine learning (decision trees, language modelling, information extraction, deep learning, spelling correction (see valkuil.net)), data analysis and visualisation.

Programming experience in Python, C++ and C.
