Practical information for participants of the courses in the Humanities Lab's Computer labs

Here we have collected som practical information which can be useful for user's (students and employees) of the computer labs in the Humanities Lab.

Logging in on t he computers in the computer lab

Students and employees at HT-faculty

To use the computers in the Humanities Lab's computer labs, students need their STiL-Identity, and employees need their LUCAT-identity. (This is an improvement from previous years, since it's no longer necessary to create a special "Computer account" beforehand.) Students must however (re)activate their accounts at www.uw.lu.se/.

Students and employees at Lund University, but outside HT-faculty

All students and employees at Lund University can use their STiL/LUCAT to log in at the computers. However, data can only be saved locally.

Not employed or student at Lund University

If you need to use the computers in the Humanities Lab without being employed or student at Lund University, you will get a temporary account. Contact your teacher/equivalent in beforehand to arrange for this.

Print-outs

Studen

ts who wants to print out in the computer labs need to first load their printing account. This is done via Internet at www.lu.se/printaccount.

The money at this account can be used for printing out both in computer labs as well as in all the university libraries.
